John Weiner to Join Dunottar as Deputy Head, Pastoral

We are pleased to announce that John Weiner has been appointed as our new Deputy Head Pastoral from September 2023. He will replace Marc Broughton when he leaves to take up his role as Head of Belmont School at the end of this academic year.
John is a very experienced pastoral lead, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and understanding. He shares Dunottar’s ethos on pastoral care, believing passionately that it should underpin every aspect of school life and sit at the heart of everything we do. Currently Assistant Head, Pastoral and Wellbeing at Caterham School, where he is also the Designated Safeguarding Lead, John has previously been Director of Sixth Form and Head of Economics and Business. Prior to joining Caterham, John was Assistant Head: Head of Boarding and Pastoral Care at Leighton Park School and Director of IB and Boarding Housemaster at Felsted School.
We are delighted to welcome John to the Dunottar team and look forward to working with him when he joins us later this year.
