Saines to Represent Great Britain in Russia

A student from a Reigate-based school has been selected to represent Great Britain in the European Deaf Swimming Championships in Russia, June 2014. 

Polly Saines, 15, a pupil at Dunottar Reigate School for Girls, received this news last Friday at the Great Britain Deaf Training Camp in Liverpool. 

“I couldn’t believe it when I was told,” the Year 10 student commented. “I was too shocked to speak!” 

Headmistress Nikki Matthews said: “This is an amazing feat. The whole school would like to congratulate Polly upon her success.”
