History Students Take Part in Holocaust UK’s Testimony 360 Project

15th January 26

Today, some of our Year 10 and Year 12 history students took part in the development of the @holocaustuk‘s Testimony 360 project, participating in online beta testing of Holocaust survivor John Dobai’s interactive testimony.

Testimony 360 is a free digital educational programme that combines recorded eyewitness testimony with virtual reality, transforming how students can access and engage with survivor testimony and offering an invaluable new way to learn about the Holocaust.

John previously recorded his testimony over a five-day period, and through the use of AI technology was able to respond directly to questions posed by our students. During the session, students asked over 500 questions, all of which will be reviewed by the programme developers to assess the relevance and value of the responses.

Students embraced this unique opportunity, and it was fantastic to be involved in such a ground-breaking project while seeing first-hand how technology can help preserve the voices and experiences of Holocaust survivors for future generations.
