An Inspiring Evening of Musical Talent

Our Autumn Concert took place on Thursday 21st November and what an event it was! The performances were truly exceptional: all the pupils, from Year 7 up to Year 13, played with confidence and professionalism and to a really high standard. It was a real testament to the hard work and enthusiasm that they put into preparing for this concert. The audience was treated to performances of music by Rachmaninoff, Joni Mitchell, Gershwin, Chappell Roan and more — and pupils rose to the additional tasks of improvising, accompanying, playing self-taught music and performing on an instrument for the first time. A special mention must go to our Performing Arts Ambassador, Millie, who hosted the evening alongside Miss Channell with aplomb. The Autumn Concert was an inspiring celebration of Dunottar pupils’ love for music and we can’t wait for the next event in the Spring Term.
