St. George’s House Retain The House Shout Title!

Congratulations to St. George’s, St. Andrew’s, St. David’s and St. Patrick’s Houses for another wonderful and successful House Shout! This year’s theme was “100 Years of Disney”.
Although the competition was fierce, pupils were incredibly supportive of each other’s performances and really enjoyed taking part in this fun-filled event.
St. George’s House retained their first place title with a fantastic rendition of ‘I Just Can’t Wait to be King’ from The Lion King. St. George’s really gave it their all and even had costumes and face paints to tie the performance together. Our judge, Vicki Manser, was so impressed with another fantastic performance from St. George’s and loved the energy and creativity the House demonstrated during their performance.
In addition to the group competition, the solo competition also had some tough competition! Harry from St. David’s House was victorious in first place with his electric performance of ‘Believer’ by Imagine Dragons. Grace from St. Andrew’s House placed a close second with her beautiful performance of ‘Lovely’ by Billie Eilish.
Well done to all the pupils for taking part – we are already looking forward to next year!
