Languages Week 2023

In September, the MFL Department had a fantastic Languages Week with activities throughout the week. We were very lucky to welcome Steve Eadon from Mingalaba who spoke to the students during Monday’s assembly about his journey with languages and his time spent working at Arsenal FC. Steve also spent the day with different classes writing match reports and playing football in Spanish and English! On Tuesday, Freshwater Theatre delighted students with performances of Don Quixote and Les Trois Mousquetaires. On Thursday and Friday, the Year 7 pupils baked some wonderful cakes in aid of Macmillan Cancer Research and raised an incredible £312.84! Their cakes were incredibly creative and tasted delicious.
