UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge

Congratulations to all Dunottar pupils who took part in the UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge in February – the results are in! Pupils in Years 9 and 10 competed just before half term in this national competition, solving complex mathematical problems. Points were deducted for incorrect answers, so the pressure was on to be confident in their responses.
Pupils achieved a fantastic 25 bronze, 8 silver and 1 gold. Special congratulations go to Matthew in Year 10 who achieved Gold, being awarded Best in School and automatically qualifying for the next round of the competition which will take place on Thursday 17th March. The maths department and everyone at Dunottar wish him every success!
