Alongside my studies, I took part in the Sports Leaders scheme, which has been a fantastic opportunity to coach younger pupils in Years 7 and 8. This experience has been hugely rewarding and has helped me to develop important skills such as leadership, communication and teamwork.

Ambitions

One of my ambitions is to travel to Spain and South America in the future to immerse myself in the culture and practise my Spanish. I hope to study Geography at university, building on my passion for the subject and the skills I have developed during Sixth Form.

Life in the Sixth Form

What I love most about the Sixth Form is the strong sense of community. Break times are always fun, whether it’s a quick game of pool or table tennis with friends, while competitive fixtures with the senior sports teams bring a real buzz of excitement. Every day feels different, with new opportunities to try something new and challenge myself.

Experiences I have had during my time in the Sixth Form

So far, one of the highlights of my Sixth Form journey has been working towards my Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. I particularly enjoyed the canoeing practice expedition — learning a new skill while having lots of fun with my peers was an unforgettable experience.
