Mrs Suzanne Laird

Suzanne is a highly accomplished, multi-award-winning business lawyer and author of the best-selling book GDPR for Dummies, for which she was honoured with the prestigious 2023 Picasso Europe Privacy Author Award. A sought-after media commentator and international speaker, Suzanne regularly shares her expertise on privacy law and business.

Her career began at the global law firm DLA Piper, where she specialized in M&A and private equity. Suzanne then transitioned to ITV Plc, leading the £1 billion digital switchover project. Following this, she was headhunted to become the Legal Director, and later Operations Director, at the UK subsidiary of the world’s largest property company. In these roles, she earned recognition in Who’s Who of Britain’s Business Elite for two consecutive years.

Suzanne has called Reigate home for 15 years, where she lives with her husband and two daughters.
