One of the world’s very best hockey goalkeepers, Maddie Hinch studied at Dunottar before heading off to Loughborough University to study Sports Science.

She began her relationship with hockey at school after a PE teacher saw her dramatic ducking and diving whilst fielding a game of rounders, this led to an interest in the game that saw her start her professional career at Exmouth HC, working her way up to an international debut in 2008.

Maddie graduated from Loughborough University with a degree in Sport & Exercise Science and has since been voted World’s best female goal-keeper for three consecutive years, as well as having accumulated over 150 caps for England and Great Britain.
