Dr Ewan Laurie

Ewan is Assistant Head (Academic Enrichment) at Guildford High School. After reading Geology at Imperial College and a masters degree at Royal Holloway, he completed a PhD in Geology at the Natural History Musuem in London and consulted on engineering projects including the Channel Tunnel Rail Link and the Dublin Port Tunnel. He has extensive experience in independent education, including the roles of Head of Department and Head of Sixth Form at King’s College School, Wimbledon, and Deputy Head at St John’s Leatherhead.

Ewan has particular interests in careers pathways, outdoor learning and sustainability education. He is also the Safeguarding Representative.
