Centenary and Events
This year marks the beginning of a particularly momentous chapter in Dunottar’s rich and distinguished history. In 2026, we will proudly celebrate the school’s centenary—a remarkable milestone that offers us the opportunity to reflect on a hundred years of educational excellence, character development, and unwavering pastoral care.
For nearly a century, Dunottar has inspired generations of pupils to achieve their full potential, nurturing not only academic success but also compassion, resilience, and a sense of community that extends far beyond the school gates. This centenary year will be both a celebration of our heritage and a forward-looking tribute to the values that continue to shape our future and strengthen our Warrior Learning ethos.
A series of exciting commemorative events are already being planned to mark this historic occasion. Highlights will include a spectacular Centenary Show in the Castle Theatre on Thursday 20th and Friday 21st November, showcasing the immense talent within our school community, and a glittering Centenary Ball on Friday 6th March 2026, bringing together past and present pupils, parents, staff, and friends of Dunottar for an evening of celebration and reflection.
As we approach this milestone, we invite everyone connected with Dunottar to join us in commemorating our past, celebrating our present, and looking with optimism and ambition toward the next hundred years.
