Musically Gifted Student Excels at Redhill and Reigate Music and Drama Festival

Chloe Barnes, 17, was rated as outstanding in all four classes.  She won the first three – concerto, unaccompanied and sonata – and was awarded the Borough of Reigate and Banstead Arts Council Award for woodwind in the recital class.

Proud mum Jean Barnes commented: “The adjudicator said he was running out of superlatives by the end of the evening and was amazed at the amount of repertoire Chloe presented in one evening.”
