Students Raise Hundreds for ‘A Really Good Cause”

Pupils from Dunottar School in Reigate have raised £618 for Tommy’s, a charity that funds research into pregnancy problems and provides information to parents.

The charity was proposed by Ellie Corbett, 15, who said: “I’ve heard of Tommy’s before and I believe that it’s a really good cause.”

The Year 10 students held a range of fundraising events, which included a sponsored fun run, nail painting and cake sales.

Form Tutor Anna Vaughan commented: “When our fundraising events took place, there was a lot of uncertainty about the future of Dunottar. Despite this, they pulled together and raised an impressive amount for such an important charity. I’m very proud of them!”
