During the current period of school closures, to ensure continuity of education for all our pupils, we are running a full school timetable via Microsoft Teams. Thanks to our successful iPad roll out, all pupils in school are equipped with their own iPads and have access to remote learning provisions. Pupils are interacting with their teacher and classmates via the Teams application. Teachers are also setting and returning work remotely via our homework application, Sparkjar, as well as providing a wealth of other resources on our Digital Learning Space.
To ensure continuity of pastoral support, registration and form periods are also taking place remotely first thing in the morning, enabling pupils to maintain contact with their form group and tutor.
Feedback from pupils and parents has been extremely positive. Pupils are engaged, keeping active and feeling connected.
We will be posting a wealth of additional resources and activities for pupils and their families from sporting activities to well-being advice, book recommendations to recipe suggestions. Content will be continually refreshed over time so please keep checking back for new ideas.
