Corinna Lawrence, Olympic Athlete of the Year visits Dunottar.

A sporting champion visited a school in a bid to inspire and motivate the pupils. Corinna Lawrence, eleven times British women’s epee champion and current British Olympic athlete of the year, visited Dunottar School For Girls in Reigate on Tuesday.
Corinna visited to talk to the Junior School girls in assembly about thinking about their goals through increasing motivation and confidence in sport as well as discussing her preparations for the London Olympic Games. Corinna then worked with year groups in small groups to teach the girls some technical aspects of Fencing, allowing the girls to have a first-hand experience.
The talk was the first of several planned for the Junior School to show girls women at the top of their profession.
Dunottar already has its own Fencing club held before school which attracts many girls.
