Finn, a pupil at Dunottar School, has been selected for the Academy’s Developing Player Programme (DPP).

This programme exists for the most talented young rugby players in Surrey and selection is the first step on the way to earning a professional contract.

The Year 9 student said: “This is a good stepping stone for the future, as I’d like to have a career in sport.”

Dunottar School’s Director of Sport, Rob Clark, commented:  ‘I knew that Finn was a good player from watching him play for his prep school, Hawthorns, but, having seen him up close in training over the last few weeks, I have been even more impressed.

“He is an extremely clever rugby player,” he added.  “He has great footwork, an excellent pass, an eye for a gap, and a turn of speed.

“Having coached on the Quins DPP for a number of years, I know what it takes to succeed on the programme, and I think Finn has the necessary attributes in abundance. I can’t wait to see how he develops both as part of Dunottar’s exciting rugby future and at Quins.”
