Student Gains String of Distinctions with Singing Exams

Hannah Peet, 15, achieved a distinction in her grade 8 Trinity singing exam, which is the highest level that she can achieve.  This follows a string of distinctions, starting from grade 3 when she was just ten years old.

The Year 11 student, who enjoys singing as a hobby, is now preparing for a Trinity Performance Diploma, which will take her up to a professional standard of performance and musical understanding.

David Black, Director of Music, said: “The music department is so proud of Hannah’s achievements. We have enjoyed listening to her voice develop over the years with great interest and delight, and she is now singing to a very high standard. We can’t wait for her next performance!”
